Noticable distress and evidence of age or use. Still wearable but also useful as a study piece, theatrical costume or fix'm-ups. These pieces are only purchased if rare, beautiful, or historically-significant.
This dress is heavy -- at 2 lbs.
With issues -- included in my collection because of its historical significance. Although it might be restorable, its intended as a study piece or theatrical costume.
Noted issues: reddish armpit stain, one button is chipped, skirt back has 6 holes, 3 quarter-sized - see 3rd pic. (Skirt is full enough that these could be mended by taking in fabric/adding seams around the circumference - although this would reduce fullness.) One dark mark on skirt near zipper. The white collar should be removed for cleaning -- its edges are slightly yellowed.
